Hi! 👋 My name is Kathryn and I am your child’s future tutor.

I began working with children in 2010 as a swim coach and transitioned into teaching in 2016. Through teaching and tutoring, I’ve worked with students in pre-K through high school. I hold a master’s degree and New York State certification in Childhood Education. Additionally, I am have been trained in LETRs and Orton-Gillingham approaches both based on the Science of Reading. I have also taught in a variety of educational settings so I am equipped to help every type of learner.

Although I have left the classroom, I still love working with students. I believe in a child-centered, balanced approach that builds confidence and curiosity. My goal is to help every child grow and let their learning sprout at their own pace.

When I’m not teaching, I can be found reading a good book, attending an OrangeTheory Fitness class, or trying out a new restaurant.
